About Us
Edlyn Cherry is the founder of Gold Standard Solutions. She was born and raised in the Great Midwest. At the age of 15, she began full-time college life as a self-paced homeschooler, and at 19 years of age, she graduated cum laude from Wilberforce University, an HBCU in Ohio, with a B.S. in Business Management.
After completing an award-winning construction internship in operation's management and professional services (AR, AP, staffing, payroll, inventory, and insurance tracking), Edlyn went on to serve in management at Exxon Mobil Corporation, becoming one of the youngest managers in Southern California.
In 2009, she relocated to the DFW Metroplex, where she provided professional services to A&M Extreme and Meyson, LLC construction companies. She subsequently earned her M.S. in Leadership and Management and served at two financial institutions for 15 years in technology, compliance, and operations, nurturing her passion for delivering gold-level service in project management, business analysis, and senior-level operations support.

Additionally, Edlyn has served with two global leaders in the fintech world, FIS and, more recently, Fiserv, where she conducted business analysis and led extensive projects in program management and portfolio leadership with clients up to $50B. Edlyn is enthusiastic about delivering exceptional service to government agencies and organizations.
Edlyn Cherry

Rahegene A Cherry II, born in Tulsa, OK, and raised in the DFW Metroplex, has always showcased a natural gift for communication. From singing and leading youth groups to teams in law enforcement and security across Kaufman, Dallas, and Rockwall Counties, his career has been marked by a dedication to service. Rahegene's background spans the criminal justice system, social services, counseling, outreach, missions, and ministry, where he leverages his influence to benefit the community.

A former leading defensive tackle in the nation, Rahegene's drive and leadership continue to inspire rising young leaders. His adeptness in communication and sales made him the leading sales producer, known for prioritizing customer needs and building strong relationships. Rahegene holds certifications in sales, counseling, public safety, and as a minister, and holds a Bachelor's degree from The Sure Foundation Theological Institute.

Currently, Rahegene is excited to serve as the Marketing and Communication Strategist for Gold Standard Solutions. His role involves empowering and promoting marketing and sales campaigns for the company's products and services. Additionally, Rahegene aims to build relationships with contracting officials, the organizations, and the citizens that Gold Standard Solutions serves, exchanging time for positive relationships, trust, and long-lasting connections.

Stephanie Morris, born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, holds an MBA from Regis University and a BA in Business Administration from Temple University's Fox School of Business. With over 14 years of diverse experience, she excels in administration, commercial insurance, quality control, and non-fiction writing.
Her career began at Children and Youth Services in Delaware County, managing daily operations and supervising staff. Transitioning to educational roles, she coordinated programs at Gwynedd Mercy University for first-generation college-bound students. At IOA Insurance Services and Conner Strong & Buckelew, Stephanie provided administrative support, ensuring efficient processing of policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements, and new business for extensive construction projects.
Her administrative prowess extends to managing events and records at Comcast Corporation and Delaware Valley High School. Stephanie also excels in business lesson writing and creating high-quality educational content.
Licensed in P&C and Life Insurance across multiple states, Stephanie collaborates with Edlyn Cherry to deliver gold-standard services for government and local agencies. Together, they drive success with strategic vision and dedication.

Gold Standard Solutions is excited to partner with Randall Thompson, our Executive Consultant. Randall was born in Dayton, OH, where he learned his father's trade and operated heavy equipment from his youth. Over the past 30+ years, he has served on exceptional excavation crews from the Midwest to California, Texas, and around the world, including Antarctica.

In 2001, Randall built a multi-million dollar construction company that installed wet and dry utilities, performed demolition, and contracted work from large organizations like San Diego Gas and Electric. He also completed highly skilled excavation for the Los Angeles subway system and metro rail. In time, Randall grew his business to a fleet of 20 backhoes and multiple other vehicles and heavy equipment. Prior to ownership, Randall dedicated years as a superintendent, foreman, and operator, safely following code, safety measures, and strict CA compliance.
​Additionally, Randall's construction experience extends to government contracting, home and corporate building renovation (demolition, framing, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, roofing), and facilities management.
Randall's vast business experience, exceptional expertise, commitment, and resilience are paving the way for future generations to operate with a gold standard of excellence and customer service!​
